Setting up my R33gts-t for drifting, basically wondering if anyone people could give me some input, maybe you have set yours up for drift suspension wise, an can talk about your setup. Wat you think should be done next? Going to get myself a hicas lock bar. Been looking into tie rod ends to get more lock out of steering, however havent located R33 ones yet does anyone know if R32 ones are suitable for R33. What suspension would you go for Konis/ Blistein/ Tein or maybe something else, i want to be able to rebuild them if necessary, (heard a place in queensland will rebuild tein :Bang:) looking into blistein an koni cos i got some mates who got some pretty good contacts with thoughs companies.

Current setup

-Rear adjustabble whiteline swaybar (22mm on hardest setting)

-Rear cusco strut brace

-Front whiteline swaybar (24mm)

-Front GTR stru brace

-Cusco castor rods (positive 6 degrees castor)

-Car came with lowered springs (suspension should be next)

Cheers Tim

good set of adjustable coilovers....either tein or cusco or juc...there heaps of brands, I think even whiteline make some, with some pillow ball upper mounts. I have tein HA's and there rather stiff, good for drift!

Floor brace an roll cage will make the car even more rigid.

Nismo 2-way mechanical diff would be a nice addition

set of pineapple bushes for the K frame, an better g/box mount

better clutch ready to take a pounding

camber kits for the front arms, better camber kits for the rear (with more adjustment)

215 width tyres on 9inch wide rims an a Nardi steering whell an your set :D

:D

thanks abcent

i already got a 2way mechanical, tomei its very nice. I got some uras pineapples in there as well, heavy duty clutch, got momo steering wheel, an 3 sets of stock rims. Yeah tein been proven so thats a pretty good option just heard no one will rebuild in melb. heard of very few cars running koni or blistein, they would be a better option for me due to a few people i know may be able to get cost right down and rebuilderble. Yeah would definately be up for a floor brace had trouble locating one second hand, roll cage would be nice but dont really want a bolt in cage would like a fully engineered one $$$$ pretty exspensive. But know one can answer weather r32 an r33 tie rod ends a compatible???
