I'm looking at improving the cornering of my series 2 R33 by upgrading the sway bars while leaving the springs and shocks standard. As the car is a daily driver (and I'd like to keep my kidneys where they are) is this a sensible option? Will this modification provide better handling on the track?

Where is the best place to source good swaybars for skylines? I know of Whiteline, but who else supplies good suspension components?

What else can be done to improve the handling of my car without dropping the ride height or having too firm suspension for every day use?

Send some info my way so I can work on dropping those lap times.

Is money an issue? Maybe you can find second hand coil overs that are fully adjustable for height and softness/hardness?

So you can have daily driver setup and race track setup in a few minutes?

But as George and Nikil said. Whiteline is probably your best bet.

Thanks for the info guys.

Well it looks like I'll be giving Whiteline a call.

Can anyone think of any negatives to only changing the swaybars? I'd rather not spend extra money on a full suspension package if swaybars can give me the desired effect. I'll leave the coilovers until I move to a place where I can get out of the driveway without scraping.

Hi Zane,

make sure u get a decent wheel alignment to compliment your sway bar!!!! else it is a waste!

mmm, ride may be slightly harsher, but you may not notice it,

positives are improved handling

negatives will be, that as your car handles better and you start pushing corners harder, the increased stresses will wear out some components quicker, ie. wheel bearings, tyre wear may change, depending on the size of sway bar you get you may need to get beefier sway bar bushes...check with whiteline about this
