Offset Question

Hey ppls.

I'm looking at buying some wheels and tyres for the R34 GTT.

I am buying them primarity for the tyres, but the wheels would also be quite handy for drift/drag duties.

They came off an R32 GTR.

They are speedline mags, quite wide, and I'm assuming they will have an offset of something or the other.

Question. Will they fit my car???

I currently have 9 inch rims on the car now.

I will ask the current owner to check the wheel for offset markings, I forgot to look when I was there.

They wheels will only be going on the back of the car.

The wheel offset for a GTR rim is usually around +25 or +28 to suit the flared guards. The r33 gts-t offset is +38, not sure of the r34 gt-t offset tho but it would similiar to r33, so those r32 GTR rims will stick out abit on ur car.

Maybe the only real 100% certain way is to bolt the wheels on a see!

I think the wheels on my car now are GTR offset anyway as the front scrub on my guard liners.

If you look at the manufacturers label on your buddy club's it will say what offset they are

Here is a pic of an R34GT-T with GTR-style offset wheels. They are 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 with +21 offset.

Jeebuz, that car is PHAT in the wheel department.

Mine are 8 at the front and 9 at the rear.

On the inside of the rim usually

Dont get dish confused with offset. You can have 2 different rims with different offset's but same dish size
