There cheap. See what it will take. I've got a rb26 in front of one and it spins up my 255's on the rear through second no worries and then chirps into third. I'm only running a h/d organic clutch so it doesn't get the shock load through it. It seems to cope with the abuse I give mine no worries.

LOL...i was going to mention you Gareth:) Mine is alive at 175,000kms, over 3,000kms on the track and 30,000kms with between 200-225rwks depending on the boost im running. I run a ceramic puck clutch and often run semi slicks...

Im waiting on the delivery on my new coil packs, and my cams should only be a fortnight away, so by mid Janueary i should be ready with around 250rwkws and ill soon know if the gearbox is ready to give up the ghost:(

The other things, my mate works for agearbox manufacturer, and he is always ranting about its torque that kills gearboxes, somehting the RB20 aint renowned for, so even if you start to throw out healthy figures it aint going to be a torque monster.

Though ppl have spoken about failures at this power, it appears to be a matter of driving style and g'box condition

mine has been fine witha gtr motor drifting with a single plate cluthc and say 220rwkw

ive put on a huge turbo and hopefully a tripple ... so will see how the thing goes when its get a tune and a few power drifts

yea baby

i predict the answer is not long

well I can say I dont slam gears and mistreat it, it has fresh oil and its only been in my car just over a year or so. When I first bought my car 2 years ago it had a button clutch and the gear box didnt feel very good. The clutch was already slipping although now is a fresh clutch (1yr) and gear box from wreckers that works a treat.

In Jan/Feb im going to get a hks gt-rs, adjustable fuel reg, hks dump pipe and wolf 3d plug in ecu.

Im hoping for some decent power.

How does the rb20 feel with over 200 rw kw's??? I hope its damn good!

take it easy
