boost but no power?!?

hi,

im having some problems with the rb20 in my r32. quick story... took for drive boosting fine @16psi, went home and cooled it down for couple of minutes, went out about 20 mins later ran car for a few minutes and form then on it would still boost but...

*boost not coming on until nearly 5000rpm when usually at just under 4000.

*boost gauge reads just under a bar but by that time on redline

*doesnt have the same feel when coming onto boost (usually pulls you right back into the seat)

* not blowing any smoke what-so-ever

thats about all that has changed but it just made me think how gauge reads around 14psi but feels like hardly any boost... anyone got any ideas?

ok yea cheers mate, thats what it was. plumb back got jammed open... so air half re-circulating

Get the timing checked, one night I was 'cruising' around in my car and all of a sudden it started going sh*t, timing was way out of whack on inspection a couple of weeks later.

Don't know if it's that reason for sure, but get it checked anyway.
