replacing standard ecu

i wouldnt see why not.....as long as it is the same type ie automatic and manual transmission type ecu

As long as your not an auto trying a manual ecu all is good.

If you run the NA ecu on the turbo it runs crazy rich.

Is there any real difference beween the Manual and Auto ECU's considering that auto skylines have an additional ECU in the drivers footwell that communicates with the main ECU.

I would think that they would be the same units. Can anyone confirm this, perhaps ppl with FAST software?

The only difference, as far as my knowledge goes, between the turbo auto ECU and the turbo manual ECU is that the auto ECU holds injectors open for a slightly longer period of time at low RPM giving slightly richer mixtures

got the replacement ECU, last question before i plug it in, if it dosent work could i damage the ECU in anyway?
