intercooler piping

i'm putting in my fmic in an r33 and i'm wondering if i should run both pipes from the cooler around the turbo side of the engine or have right hand side pipe go straight up on turbo side and the left up and over the fan/raidiator. does it mater??

its alittle shorter going the second way you said, but not much.

i'm doing my pipping on monday and using the standard pipping in the engine bay then with the cooler run one straight into the cooler then the other side run it back under the cooler using half a donut for a tight bend back to the standard pipe.

length isn't the only concern, it's the amount of turns in the piping, the 2nd way has less twists and turns therefore less pressure loss.
