What is Differn't with the N1 engines ?

Hi guys

my dad and i just bought a 32 gtr

it has an r33 n1 enigne and r34 n1 turbos

we just want to no what is the upgrade to the n1 engines compared to the standard ones

from what I know everything is uprated. Still standard capacity however slightly larger pistons, diff oil pump, diff water pump, the head is also uprated. I'm pretty sure the pistons are still cast not forged.

If anyone knows of a complete list of changes I'd be very interested as well.

There is likely to be some difference between a 'proper' N1 and an engine-swap: it depends how thorough the swap was as to exactly what parts you will have installed.

I believe the actual N1 block has thicker casting also. As stock GTR blocks are known to crack..

the engine is from japan an it an r33 n1 engine with 33 n1 pump and everything else is all n1

This month's HPI magazine has a genuine N1 R33 feature. There is a fair bit of info on the N1 block, so it would be worth the read to quench the curiosity.

piston is not fogred but with a special coating
