Bleed Valve?

Hey everyone,

Just wantin to ask, what is a Bleed Valve and what does it do? sorry... Newb here :Oops:

Bleed valve is a manual boost controller,

eg: Turbosmart bleed valve. Turn the silver dial on top to increase boost or decrease boost.

How it works is, once air builds up inside the valve (10psi) it goes to the actuator on the turbo and opens the wastegate, and once its reached it's desiered boost pressure it bleed's out of the valve to stop boost increasing.
