Anyone made a claim with JustCars insurance??

ok got car back on thursday, repairs were ok, service was fairly good too, but yeah, i guess "droo" was right, prolly more the workshop then the insurance company. so it took about 2 weeks to get car fixed.

Does anyone know if you can choose your panel beater/mechanic or do you have to go with whatever they say???

the length of the wait for repairs and quality of repairs is not really the fault of the insurance. our car that was fixed with RAC took 2 months to fix and went back about 4 times. RAC were great about it but the panel beater was as dodgy as they come.

Regardless, if a workshop is cutting corners or falling behind with their workload then its good business for the insurer to find someone who can handle the job..so they are partly at fault

I had 3rd party with suncorp, $200/12 months at age 17, although I only held the policy for a few months till i went full

Just apply online, and you can have it 100% setup in like 10 mins.

im with just cars, but i could only afford to get 3rd party at $600 odd.  

full cover they wanted $2750 so i sed get ****ed, gimme 3rd party.

was the chicks name rosa by any chance?? coz i had her and she seemd real nice too

although im kicking myself now for not getting full cover (after my prang last night)

like my dad always says : "insurance is a ****ing waste of money.......until u need to make a claim"

theres three types of 3rd party - the compulsory that comes with rego which doesnt cover property, 3rd party property which is what you had for 170-200 a year which covers the other persons car in an accident and 3rd party fire and theft which is more expensive and covers the car if it is stolen but doesnt cover it if you prang it.

My car is with just car and its costn me 2700 a year, my claim was no hassles i got my 2 quotes, and the repair job was pretty damn good, ( i got the repairer of my choice coz the guys that just car sent me to "Missed" damage) i just had to wait 4 the repairer to have a loan car avail. and that took 6 weeks

My girlfriend made a claim through Just Car at the beginning of this year. She had an R33 GT25t Skyline and wrote it off after only 2 months. Just Car insurance took 2 weeks to do an investigation and she received a full payout within the month with no hassles at all. She has recently bought a new, non-turbo fully standard car and has gone through them again. Hope this helps.

yeah its good info, cause i just don't want to get some bullshit story and more problems after going through hell with pranging a 20K car and worse yet if someone else's car is involved.
