S-AFC question

I bought an Apexi S-AFC and installed most of it my self...

(Im an ex-autoelec) however i went down to the local

to get it dyno tuned as the last part of the set up and he said

that its an R33 (degined) one and it will not work on my car...

I thought it would work on all turbo cars...

So im gonna try another performance shop tommorrow...

But i thought id just check....

according to my japanese instructions they suit a shitload of cars... its dependent on what ECU youve got obviously but i bet theyre wrong. go somwhere else!

Mate i would be headin to a garage with a bit more know how, as they obviously dont really know what they are on about. There is only 1 type of S-AFC!!!!!!

yeah as far as i was aware they are not matched to cars they are almost universal... like adam said... go to another workshop... they sound like n00bs... it was more likely they knew sfa about tuning turbo cars.

The s-afc only has about 4 wires that splice into the ecu, and u have to set in the setup if its a MAP or Hotwire AFM!

Oh and i got a r33 and s-afc and it works fine!

Yeah as i thought...

I installed it right... Just they didnt know how to tune it...HAHAHA

I found a better place to get it done... Their half the price too...

So im all go this weekend when i get the car back...

if u r in brisbane, take it to subzero to get it tuned!

haha, too true, i saw them pouring in oils out of a orange juice container into the drag car that they drained from a staffers car, when they found it was low on oil. Talking about sweetening it up!!!

I have posted my hatred for those "un-australian" bastards...

Im not a white blooded aussie... well mostly and im not a racest bastard either... I am only half aussie, so i recon I'm allowed to comment... But anyway I will never even think about using them...

I will quote from my "I hate Sub-zero post"
