turbo question

Fatz - that turbo is one bigger than the 3040. It's a monster. And a laggy hoe, I'd reckon.

Jeez - I didn't realise the XR6 had such a big turbo - yum - I guess they are a 4 litre or whatever - so lag wouldn't be an major issue for them.

Dual Ball Bearing GT35/GT40R Turbo assembly. T3 style inlet flange with 4 bolt T31 style exit. Large 60- 1 style compressor housing with 4.00 inlet and 2.50" outlet. Hi HP 4-6 Cyl applications. This turbo has a flow capacity of about 600HP.

Turbine

-Wheel: 68mm w/ 84 trim

-Housing: .82 ar, 1.06 ar

Compressor

-Wheel: 82mm w/ 56 trim

-Housing: .70 ar

lol yea its pretty laggy but changes are on the cars (cams)

hits like a krack whore at 3800

have a jun base map for a tdo6 than im going to lay into the comp and see how it goes

until the power fc arrives

Be careful with the tune - that turb will pump a whole lot of air thru and you need to give it fuel otherwise it will ping it's tits off an go bang.

As an example - I am still running the 2835 tune on my car - but with the 3040 on it. If I boost even 2 PSI, my air fuel raitio goes way way lean

Well I'm gettin' a fat.

I think this will be the turbo for me. 3800rpm is roughly what I expected, on the 3ltr it should be around the 3500rpm mark. Thats where I want it.

What did you pay for the turbo? new or s/h?
