turbo noise

well coming home today

gave my car a boot full and it is making a real loud werrrrrrring noise

like a really loud supercharger

doesnt make a noise on idle or revving

only does it spooling up and on boost, and slightly at real high revving eg, 6k but bearly.

its a R33 GTS-T

with a T3 turbo with 04 rear wheel

i think the oil feed line is leaking, but it has leaked befor and didnt make this noise

ne sugestions?

leaky cooler piping is where i would start.

just had a look at all the piping and vacume lines everythink is still ok

well seems to be

seems is the word... i thouth mine was ok too... turns out the sligest bit of air getting out of a clamp was the noise

I agree, spent 5 hours last night try to diagnose a similar prob on my mechanics car as funny as that sounds. Was running really rich and making a weird noise. We tried to find why it was rich first and tried EVERYTHING! Ended up being crack in intercooler hose.

well i looked over all piping and found nothing

so thought stuff it and took turbo off the rear wheel one blade has snapped in half

so get it fixed soon
