"yeah 2500lb pressure plate is quiet heavy but you do get used to it and it grabs very sharp and well"

I agree with C yar on this, I had a 2500lb, 9 puck clutch fitted by Xspeed in Myaree, cost $850 but so pleased with it,not that hard to get used too and at least you KNOW it won't give you trouble for some time :D

But why would you get this for a na 25, its overkill and will actually make the car slower 1/4 mile wise. You will also find that a 9 puck will wear quicker as well.

if you get cypher to do anything....your a fool, dan......and so is gav.... :)

you guys both need to wake up and realise the charge out the ass for shit that doesnt do the job....they made gav buy another hi-flow cat again....before they would work on his car....just because he changed it.....

only my 2 cents....but if you pay 1000 bucks for a clutch for an NA then you are being stupid.

go with what the boys are saying....everyone in this forum has better advice than going to that place.... :)

ps. ring hyperdrive... :D

well im DEFINATELY not paying 1000 for a clutch... on this particular issue cypher can go jump... theyre good blokes but not paying that much

so dont worry not going to cypher for it... and after recieving an email about my zorst (that i hadnt checked email for a good 2 months) i found that mettams mufflers coulda done my zorst for bloody 500 or less for my zorst... i got RIPPED by cypher...

tis good work dont get me wrong, but i aint payin that much, im DEFINATELY shopping around in the future...

I went for the 9puck Ceramic w/2500lb pressure plate :P You do get used to it, but YES it is a bitch to drive in traffic. Thank god I don't do much peak driving anymore!

You're such a little girl Strich..

And yes - autoclutch are the go. Mine's lasted all sorts of torture and has never ever ever ever once slipped @ 270rwhp - god how I've tried to get it to slip though!

Im booked into getting a "9 Puck cushion button extra heavy duty clutch" ... or whatever the hell that is. I was told that would be good, for $850 installed. Plus possibly $50 for machining of the flywheel if needed at hyperdrive.

Autoclutch had similar types of prices, but im happy with the workmanship at hyperdrive

ive really got nothing to compare it to. The current dead clutch ive had in the car since i bought it (2 half years) and found that to be very driver friendly, but never had any problems with it biting when needed. It may have only been std.. i dunno, we'll find out next thursday
