Sorry to hear that this happend, it truely is shameful , I hope the police catch those who are responsible, most of the car enthusiast of perth know one another hopefully someone may know who did this and come forward, Its a sick feeling when someone stealsyour stuff , as im sure a lot of the skyline guys here can relate to having thre rides broken into

not wanting to whore the thread, but not wanting to start a new thread,

i walked down to the garage about 10 minutes ago, light was on in my car, checked all doors, they were fine, checked the boot, it was open, some bastards have popped the lock :P

thankfully they didn't steal anything, my 2x15" subs are there, haven't look for damage yet (apart from the lock) as I ran back up to the apartment to call the cops, which i am still on hold to :D

cops use dna fingerprints as scaretactics only they actually far to slack to bother i know this having suffered many breakins ( me, mates an family) and they jus dont care unless you really push issue christ once i had bloody ( yes thier blood) fingerprints on my windscreen an they still did jack

time for some vigulantee s%$t

sory ta hear bout breakin ears to the ground me an the crew

uneekwahn: fark I hope my car is ok :P Is your car in an underground carpark or what? If so, how the fark did they get in? Reason I ask this is because most places where you and I live have pretty secure garages, carparks etc.

Les: Sorry to hear mate. Hope the coppers catch the scum that stole all of that stuff. Unfortunately there always seems to be a huge number of break in's over the xmas period :D

dan: yeah, underground car park, but theres been a spate of recent break ins in cars and storerooms at our complex, we think its a group of people who lived in one of the apartments, who were allegedly running a drug business and prostitution ring from it, who were evicted, but may still have keys/garage remotes :P

ok now this i got told from a cop friend ad he doesn't bullshit me with these things and its gonna make you never want to go to the hospital.

Police gather their DNA records from blood samples when you are in hospital for an operation.

Since you've signed a consent form to be operated on, all the 'bits and blood' the hospital takes out of you is their property and there is some clause somewhere that gives the police access to it. This is how they build their database plus also the samples they take from people who are arrested.

But the logistics and financial aspect of it all is that if it isn't an important case like a murder they don't use the resources to pay for it.

THey will take fingerprints and stuff and store it on file but they don't process analyse it unless the case is important.

very weird though they took no forensics from the crime scene,

they can only take forensic evidence if there is any.

dusting for prints usually only works on clean surfaces because the oil on your skin needs something to "bond" to. Plus, you have a busy workshop where there are probably dozens if not more finger prints.

they can only take blood if its there, and skin cells/hairs are a dime a dozen in most places.

lets be realistic guys, its not like csi on tv.
