Dash Dimmer Needed in 89 GTR?

Dose anyone know if you need to put a dimmer switch in a 89 GTR under the 15 yo rule?

If so were would you get it ? And what wire to cut into?

Yes you do. Mine was fitted as part of the compliance cost, but I'm sure someone will be able to answer your other q's.

I'm pretty sure you will need it. I bought a dimmer dial from Jaycar electronics here in melbourne (they have a website) and just did a dodgy splice into the dash loom using the pinout guide.

Do you guys have any specs on the actual switch, part number,ohms ,watts,? Went and asked at local dick smiths but were very unhelpful. And were do I find this pin out guide?
