Not enough fatalities on the road? Don't kid yourself Fangio

Recommended Posts

Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Xmas and people got the presents they wanted from Santa. I unfortunately didn't get the McLaren I asked for but it won't deter me from doing it again next year like I have for the past 10...

Anyways, I'm here to vent some frustration at the idiotic morons who think that simply because they see another Skyline driver they have something to prove. Hasn't the accident rate of Skylines been high enough in the past 3 months to wake you f*cktards up?? Which part of death actually appeals to you? Do you like hospital food? Does the idea of not being able to use your legs again seem attractive? I hear brain damage is the flavour of the month...

This morning (Mond 6:45am), I'm off to play golf and I'm happily cruising down Burnley Street in Richomond heading for the SE Arterial. I get to the the cnr of Bridge and Burnley Sts and stop at the red lights. As the lights turn green, I notice another Skyline (R33 GTS-T) heading the other way. It was not a bad looking piece, white with graphics on the bonnet (not my cup of tea but the F&F fans would have probably liked it (didn't notice whether it for the chromeys though)).

Anyways, as I start to leave the lights, GTS-T boy decides to give it a bit of a squirt over Bridge Rd and hits the tram tracks running at right angles to him. OK, it was wet this morning and without much rain recently, oil and grease has built on the roads and sits on top of the water. Guess what happens to GTS-T boy??

Tail goes right

Overcorrection..

Tail goes left...

Overcorrection....

Tali goes right and further right until now he's in a spin and finishes a 540 degree spin facing the wrong way down Burnley Street.

Highly amusing and commical only for the fact that this person is A COMPLETE MORON WITH NO SENSE OF SAFE DRIVING OR RESPECT FOR OTHER ROAD USERS. YOU'RE LACK OF RESPECT FOR ROAD CONDITIONS IS DAMMING AND A PERFECTLY GOOD REASON FOR THE GENERAL PUBLICK TO HATE SKYLINE (AND OTHER IMPORT) DRIVERS DUE TO YOUR INCONSIDERATION AND SHEER STUPIDITY!!! :flamed:

You were lucky this time d!ck head!! There was noone else around to spin into or any solid objects for you to make a new friend with. No one got hurt this time and you're ego must have been about the same size as your pathetic waste of space you call a brain.

Oh and if you missed it, I did have the decency to stop my car and look back at you facing the wrong way. I also stuck my head out the window and laughed my a$$ of at your complete lack of car control, eagerness to show off your supurb driving skills and utter negligence.

You are a certifiable road hazard and should I see this kind of behaviour from your lame and sorry a$$ again, I will personally chase you down and smack you in the back of the head in an effort that your brain which most likely looks like a prune will fall to the floor and I will stamp on it to save the lives which you are endangering. Now I'm not a violent person, nor am I threatening you in any way, shape or form nor is it likely I'll see you behave in this stupid behaviour again, but take some time to think of the consequences of having an accident in your car. Sure no other cars were in danger but lamp poles and kerbs move for noone and occasionally, they will jump out infront of you!

In no way does SAU or FA encourage speeding or any other dangerous acts on public roads. All high speed driving, drifting and racing are conducted under controlled circumstances on race tracks under strict supervision.

If you want to be a hero, do it on the track and show some real balls!!

Oh!! And did I mention, I think this joker was on his P's.

People, please take care on the roads during this holiday season (and the rest of the time for that matter). We don't want any fatalities or injuries on the roads, especially Skylines. As James said at the General meeting last week, "I think we've seen enough Skylines on the news for quite some time".

Be responsible and look out for avoidable dangers when driving and I hope you enjoy the rest of your break.

That is all.

you should have a stungun, or at least frozen oranges to throw at these dickheads.

i havent taken my skyline out at all since before christmas in fear of having either the police harrass me due to the stupidity of others or the fact that every dickhead in some sort of performance car seems to tailgate/speed past/race/rev/whatever, this also included a dickhead tailgaiting me in his 2door bmw with his (maybe 6 year old) son in the passenger seat and then speed past me only to be stopped next to me at the lights where i kindly suggested he should stop driving irratically before he sends his son and himself into a ****ing poll. this coming from a p plater at the time, the fellow didnt appreciate it and didnt say anything back

anyway

****ing ****s

See it all the time dont ya? I saw a VT commo doing similar things last night.

I'll only assume the 10yr old kid in the passenger seat was the guys brother.

And i dont think we've had ONE club member involved in stupidity like that in the years ive been abouts... So it goes to show its just the "chapel st cruisers" who have high powered cars, but simply are too stupid to be driving them.

Didn't happen to get the knucklehead's plates did you? So we will know to pull off the side of the road when we see him coming towards us.

Maybe he was trying out for a Darwin Award.

This reminds me of a few weeks ago when I was sitting in my car in a dark side street near an intersection somewhere in South Melbourne before heading to Motel. I had pulled into a park to make a quick phone call and next thing I hear this screeching sound and I look up to see this big ass jalopy beige coloured land cruiser come out of another side street absolutely sideways, overcorrected left, then right, spun around very nearly missing a power pole and ended up in the gutter facing the wrong way in the street.

I had my window down and couldnt believe this moron's stupidity! trying to power slide on public roads in that thing. Just as he came to a stop, he looked around sheepishly to see if anyone saw how he fu(ked up, then he noticed me watching across the other side of the intersection. He had this big cheesy grin on his face like he meant to do it or something. I called out "nice one d!ckhead". He just spun the car around and sped off. What a tosser. If there had been a parked car there he would have easily taken it out, and he would have definitely collected another car coming the opposite direction. I would have liked to see him damage his car to teach him a lesson for doing dumb sh!t like that.

Welcome to every day of my life.

As many people know, I live in Springvale.

This area has the largest amount of fatalities in the state.

Just when you think you've seen someone perform the most unbelievably stupid and dangerous manouvre, someone else has to come along and top it.

Good call Leewah, I'm really sick of these d1ckheads at the moment. How many skyline drivers have to die in 6 weeks to get a message through?

Take it to the track....simple...

dorcas st, sth melbourne. Honda accord, 3 ppl, T- intersection, turning left into Dorcas St, attempted drift (fwd drive, so backend wasn't out, just massive understeer) so pretty much wheels pointing down dorcas, but the car was just going straight, 3 park cars on the opposite side of the T- intersection, parked at an angle. Honda hits 1 and partially the other, but due to the angle the cars were parked and domino effect, all 3 are pretty much right off's as they all were pushed in the cars next to them.

I was sitting in my car about 50 metres away, laughing my head off as the honda occupants get out and scratch their heads. But here's the REALLY dumb bit..... dude in the back seat was filming!!! Long story short, cops came, someone mentioned camera was being used... asked honda passenger to get it, stupid cops didn't go with him back to his apartment in dorcas st, so if the kid had any brains he would have erased the tape. Anyways, handed the cops the camera a little while later.

Absolute retards, t-intersection and they just come flying straight out trying to drift in a FWD Honda accord :tool: take out 3 parked cars, and were lucky to walk away from it.

The white car should have hit something, or damaged the car in someway, drive may have learnt something from his stupidity. Because at least the honda tool's won't be trying that any time soon.

What golf course were you going to Leewah? I was playing Monday as well...

It was pretty hard to miss this car so the plates won't be posted to save what is left of this morons ego.

Just keep an eye out for a 33 GTS-T with gold squiggly graphics on the bonnet and say hi from SAU - Vic.

  • 4 weeks later...

As veteran of 2 accidents I know how little it takes to lose control. I was not what you'd call a "hoon" by any stretch of the word (just a crap driver - I admit it) and I was lucky that I didn't hit anything at high speed.

Skyline is gone and I'm driving a plodding Falcon on gas. Ironically, I now work for a firm which deals primarily with Accident Investigation and Forensic Reconstruction of traffic accidents. Let me tell you, its amazing how many times the slightest change in road conditions/surface are responsible for serious injuries and deaths. No matter how good your car is, it is primarily the design of the road and mother nature which dictate matters.

The question is how to discourage overconfidence by young drivers. One of the biggest problems with so-called "advanced driving courses" is that they often contribute to increased exhuberance and faith in skills that are often lacking. I know the problem for me was that I hadn't actually practised how to recover in an emergency situation - it's not something you can learn on the spot.

So what can be improved?? Increased education? Better enforcement? More stringent statutory requirements? Who knows

can i generalise by saying - its always muzzas with their caps in the 12 o'clock direction givin us normal drivin p platers a bad rep.

They are always trying to get their bov to vent, one hammered his r33 through a retirment village up the road...wtf is the point of that

hows this one, pulled up at newsagent to collect the paper (isnt that what high powered GTRs are used for) and these morons in a commonwhore all off the sudden see me and have a brain failure. They speed up through the main street (apparently showing me how tough there ride was) lose control and hit a torago van before carrering into a bus stop leveling it. Time of day you may ask 8.00am, just before the bus stop filled with school kids. D1CKHEADS !!!!
