I was very fortunate not only did my car come over as a good example but without any damage on the undercarriage, unfortunately its the case with alot of 2nd hand cars not just imports this sort of damage can occur.

Mashrock: how do you know its not from forklifts? How else do you suppose they move the cars around? You don't actually think they drive them everywhere do you?

Oh and you would have to be completely retarded to jack a car up on a chassis rail to change a tyre let alone anything else.

i think he lost it, and went up a big curb or wall or some shit.

anyways, back to cleaning and painting rust spots.......

Having said that, the damage looks like it came from below, not sideways (as it would if you skidded into a curb).

That's harsh man. Hopefully you will be able to get an easy fix. When your done take it to the Welshpool pits as they are fair on imports and won't pull o ut the fine tooth comb. As for repairers in Perth... I see what I can dig up but I would take some good photos in to main well known ones around and get quotes. One team I know is good is Vulcan Panel and Paint in Canning Vale.
