Immobilser/Remote Central Locking Button

Hey

After having my Skyline for about 3 weeks now, i have a few questions...

One of them is my Remote Central locking button, my Car will not start at all unless I use the remote central button. If I unlock the car using the key manually the car will not even try to start, is this something to do with my immobilser?

I'm worried because my original Remote central locking key is now broken and I am using my spare, and if it happens to break I got no idea how i would start the car...

If your immobiliser has been armed then using your key to start the car will be useless. Try to get another key if possible, else time to look for new immobiliser!

Go to dick smith, jaycar or similar and buy a learning remote. They can replace a lost or damaged remote. Shouldnt be more than $30
