First Mod....

Hi All.....I'm quite new to this forum and for that matter, SkyLines.....I know, I know, where have I been all this time?? Well, I jst bought a R34 GT-T and want to ask you SkyLine fiends what you guys/gals recommend as a first mod?? What type of power gain is there when comparing POD / FMIC?? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanx in advance peoples

exhaust and boost control. forget the pod (wank factor only) go for a good panel filter.(good enough for mines R34 gtr time attack car)then look at intercooler and ecu.

Also, I forgot to mention that it has a 3" Jun-BL pipe.....Sumthin I've noticed is that at high REVS, the car seems to have a sort of miss and a popping noise from the back-end (exhaust).....I end up losing a lot of power.....Can anyone help me with sum suggestions as to what this may be??? PLEEEEAAAASE???

sounds like ignition breakdown, what plugs you using and what gap. p.s. ecu is the engine computer.

had the same problem with my r32

ended up being the spark plugs. i changed to platinum iridiums.

fixed her up straight away.

Thanx heaps for the replies guys.....How much should I be paying for a new set of irridium plugs?? Jst don't wanna get ripped....Also, with TurboTimers, what's the max time you've seen the car cooled for (ie. is 2mins plenty on all occasions??)
