engine model code

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows the engine model code for the Aus spec nissan X-Trail. Buying one for the wife and looking to see what bits are available for the thing and have no idea what the 2.5l engine model code is. Pity its not the sweet SR20VET Neo that is fitted to the JDM models with 206kw :wassup:

yeah i have found some good articles on the qr series of engines from what the articles state they will eventually replace the ka24 series engine as used in the 240sx (american model) and models using the sr20 will use the qr20de due to better emissions levels be ineteresting to watch the developments of this engine
