Bathurst 24hr Sports Car Race

Driving to Bathurst very early Friday morning for 24hr sports car race at Bathurst this weekend. Will be huge!

FIA GT cars will be there, about 12 international entries vs Aussie Nations Cup cars, GTP cars etc etc. 7L Monaro making debut. Pretty sure there won't be any GTRs but plenty of turbo Nissan, Mitsubishi and Subaru stuff to mix it up.

Will be a good change from the Falcadore V8s.

While at race got to sit in 1992 Bathurst winning Winfield GTR (part of Museum at Bathurst). Had my Nissan SVD club shirt on and it so happened the guy looking after the car was the Pres. of the NSW SVD club! Didn't let me drive it but earlier was driven in anger around the track...the engine sound was as you'd expect!

Amazing engineering in that thing!
