Who can complance a Stagea?

My wife is looking for a newer car, and is keen on a Stagea. We have given one in Adelaide a drive and is seems good, but a bit pricey. (asking $29,000, but has offered it for $26,000). The car has 37,000km, but lacks the sun roof(s) leather interior (would like to try/see this) and cruise control.

I have seen Stageas for around $20,000 in this forum so the price offered seems a bit high. One option (since we are not in a rush) is to import our own (with a few extras such as exhaust, intercooler PFC? already on it), but who can comply them? I don’t believe there is anyone in Adelaide, so I expect to have to travel to pick up the car. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Nizmo complied my Stagea, they are in QLD somewhere though.

$29k seems like a lot of money for a car with no leather and no sunroof's.. I got mine privately for $21 and it has all the gear with only 41,000km, and I got it when they where first coming out so the prices where highish....

There's a heap of QLD dealers selling them now, if you've got a friend in QLD/Bris area maybe they can look around for you? Then take the family on a quick QLD holiday for a weekend (Jetstar have MEGA cheap flights at the moment) to look at it for yourself and get it checked.

Or, if you don't mind waiting, import your own and save a heap.

I imported ours, the total cost $16K plus rego and insurance.

I used these guys to source the Stagea in Japan, I simply told them colour preference and price range www.prestigemotorsport.com.au

Ernie at Skyline Imports did the compliancing.

Mac Customs did their stuff

And Kiwi Car Carriers delivered it in perfect condition (to Skyline Imprts first, then to my house)

DOTARS were a bit slow, even for a Govt Department

It was pretty easy really, I would do it again.

PRIMO has a nice silver one for sale that has just gone through comp. It has leather, sun roofs and a touch screen tv that controls stereo, ac and the like. I think he wants $22k for it. PM me if you would like his number.
