I care for cars like I care for myself (better most times). hopefully mine will turn up in a good condition. its almost completley dead stock. wheels, cluster, gear knob etc. but engine stock I'm told.

if it arrives in ok condition. I'll keep it that way

were you turning a corner when you did this one??

I'd have to say that the my car was in better condition than thought it would be in. Had a few additional parts that came as a bonus as well!

As for value of moddified cars, Geoff had a fantastic car for sale just before I bought mine - http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/au/st...asp?StockID=780

these are only a couple of examples of what could be bought at the time (before everyone started buying the 89's).

It seems that most people are happy with their cars which is great. There are always some who get into trouble though. I have a mate that bought an 89 gtr with stuffed turbos, metal oil/water cooling lines (turbo) split. Brakes gone, discs gone and a heap of other problems.

Its the little fiddly things that are hard to find (and expensive) that can really sour the joy of owning a new car.

Using reputable brokers is probably the best safety net you can have.

2 cents.
