depends on your setup mate. please do some research and get back to me. most run 044s in-line with a surge etc so yes, it will cost you more to install. Is the best pump made by Bosch however, and at the current price is quite a good pickup! as i said, it really just depends on what you aim to achieve. let me know.

So what would you recommend for a GTR?? Bolt a 044 in tank?

Got any available right now?

ditto.

i'm running 1bar with Power FC upgrade in the near future. Would 044 be a better option?

cheers

rick i have a DIY for a 984 which apart from a check valve the install is the same as an 044, driftkng has the link at the start of this post or it is in the list of member tutorials. rubber mounting helps dampen the noise, instructions are in the DIY or attached later.

ok wat would be the best pump for me to buy an 040 or 044 i have high flowed turbo (rb20det) 3.5inch exhaust, intercooler, stock injectors, 14psi i want to mount it intank...do the 044's come with the sock??

mate, please do the research and get back to me. none of these pumps come with the fuel sock... as mentioned pump will only flow capability of ur injectors + standard computer to start with...if you just want a replacement pump, an 040 will do you fine... but if you upgrade later and want more power this pump will become limited.
