Hi everyone, got my line about 6 months ago and pretty happy with it,

its a 93 Gts-t with a Trust jasma zorst looks like 3 1/2 full exhaust system with hi-flow cat and a k&n air pod,

The problem im getting is the pop pop pop at around 4,000 and upwards, ive been reading the other threads and lots of ppl have been sayin about the plugs needing remapping but my mate reckons its got to do with overboosting coz my zorst and filter is causing the turbo to get more boost and overboost,

just wana get other ppls ideas and thoughts to get rid of this problem will a fuel-cut defender help???:(

Take out your plugs, but before you do that go and buy a spark plug feeler guage. (only about $10)

Then pull out the slides so it adds up to .8. Put the slide in between the gap of the plug, then bend the top of the plug so it sits flush with the slides.

I bet you have no idea what I am talking about cause its pretty hard to describe.

ok, first thing is to remove the pipe that goes over the engine..

u have to take out 2 bolts and losen a few clamps and remove some hoses, also remove the hose that goes over the engine at the front

then unplug your amplifier (black box that sits at the back of engine)

then using allum key remove bolts from black cover (bout 4 on each side).. this will then left off exposing your coil packs.

These are bolten on in 3, easiest is just to get a 12mm socket and remove all the bolts at once... then pull up on the black boxes (coil packs), they have a bit of suction so u need a bit of force, but be gentle at the same time cos I hear they break easy.

Now its as easyt as removing your plugs, and re gapping them. You would need a spark plug remover that is quite tall as they are sunk in fairly deep. Auto barn will have a re gapper thing and spark plug remover.. then re gap to .8

Put it back together making sure all hoses are tight etc. Should be fine. If your still missing, the plugs may need replacing or you could have faulty coil packs..

hope that helped.
