if the compressor has seized it is quite possible that it will stop the engine running........

Try removing the air con belt........then switch the air con ON and if it still makes the engine die...it is electrical.........if it runs fine........then the compressor is stuffed.

ok..the air con din really make any clicking sound, but it did make a high pitch sorta sound...

and well without the air con on the car runs fine, but when i do put the airconditioning on it does kill the engine, i can have the fan on, but not the AC....

ok we'll ill remove the air con belt and see what happens, then ill get back to uz..thanx

I had a similiar issue with mine after it was in the crash shop.

The compressor would cut in and basically stall the car.

They told me my compressor was stuffed.

I went to an Aircon bloke and he said what was happening is there was so much water in the system that the compressor was locking as water does not compress.

I took it back to them and told them what was the case and they had to redo it all again. Now it is perfect. All because of just a little water in the system.

So check for water in the system via the little window on the receiver dryer.
