Can anyone recommend a legal BOV

If there is such a thing....

I know venting to the atmosphere is illegal but if it vents to the atmosphere and is plumbed back then it is still illegal???

unless your running crazy hp, or want that 'wank factor', aftermarket BOVs are very pointless on skylines.. in fact, I know a few people who have lost power having bovs on.

My 2c, spend the $300+ on something else

I actually like the wank factor.....

But I would like the best of both worlds....

Performance and Wank Factor....

Perhaps an adjustable BOV...

Atmo venting BOV are bad on R33's. Get yourself a GFB Plumbback type. Bit more expensive but will save you a lot of hassles. On the other hand you could spend $350 on a dual stage boost controller and boost guage.

u want the best of both? there is no performance gain to be had from buying an aftermarket bov... its ALL wank

one i would recommend is the Stock BOV... its cheap... legal and makes a nice loud noise when u add a POD filter

Someone told me that an aft mkt BOV would reduce stress on the turbo or something - any truth to that?

i would imagine that if that were true that it would only be if ur running some major boost and HP

i cant see how Nissan in all there years of experience would design something only to work well on a stock car... im sure that there would be a fair bit of play in the matter.
