I'm starting to look closely at a unit supplied by Autron. www.autron.com.au The best price I can get is $675 installed with a steering wheel mount control. The installer is Tint-a-car, but this installer is in Adelaide. Seems Autron used to make the Command units that Autobarn sell.

i wonder if the unit will be accurate with a manual car...as cruise control units i thought were only effective with automatics

its just i hate crusing all the way to Brissy and back with my foot on the gas, i would love to hit the cruise button......

Cruise control does not have anything to do with the transmission.

I used to own a 5sp manual Mitsu Galant SE hatch, and the FACTORY cruise control works properly.

It's a misconception among general public that cruise control only works for auto - no it's not.

yes it is a misconception about the auto only cruise control
