WTB - R32 Skyline - Shell or Complete UnComplied Car

Recommended Posts

I am looking for an R32 Skyline.

I dont care whether its a shell or if its a complete car that is not complied.

I want to build a car for track purposes only so i dont care if it is registered or not. Please PM me if you have a rolling r32 shell or a complete uncomplied R32 Skyline for sale.

Thanks.

How about an already sorted fun track R32 GTST that is registered with plenty of mods?

A small fire, mostly steam and smoke from a burst heater hose on the firewall...means that aesthetically part of the engine bay is is not very tidy...and bonnet paint blistered about the size of A4 sheet of paper

Already has:

- 19 row oil cooler with remote filler,

- Trust exhaust manifold/wastegate/TD06 turbo,

- HKS front mount/air filter/Hyper exhaust,

- Power Fc,

- GTR injectors,

- Bosch 040 fuel pump,

- Choice of a set of 17" wheels with semi slicks,

- Kevlar Momo race seat,

- 4 point 3" Sparco harnesses

- AiM Dash Logger (data logger like you see on the dashes of touring cars)

- Full Whiteline susp, including bushes, Bilsteins, strut braces, adjustable swaybars,

- 330mm front rotors with braided lines and Comp 9 pads,

- lightened GTR flwheel and 5 puck ceramic clutch

- spare bottom end

... you get the idea:)

Car has had tens of thousands spent on it. Its already a pretty quick and fun car, and the only prob is the bit of smoke damage in a section of the engine bay. Obviously it smore then a rolling shell, but its possible you may end up with a similarily modded car when your done...then again maybe not:)

edit...oh....and also comes with a spare vented bonnet, std turbo and manifold, std injectors, spare inlet manifolds. Im considering stripping it and selling parts then car, but i have put som much effort into over the years, its shame that it wont continue to be enjoyed...and it doesnt look like a track hack, its actually a very tidy looking road car:)

With the forged Weds wheels...

With Gold AVS Model 6 wheels...

What about prices???....

LOL...like i said the car owes me a lot of money , so would like to recover as much money as possible:)

...so its not a matter of whats its worth to me, but what its worth to you. If you make me a genuine offer i will consider it. But if you already have an R32 for parts, then perhaps you are already too far down that path.

There was a 32 for sale on www.nissansilvia.com for $9600 i believe. It needed RWC...but u wouldnt need that..maybe worth considering? Or is that too much for ya?

i saw that... the car is in Queensland... so at the moment i am trying to find things closer to home (Melbourne).

At ~18,000 BTU ballpark nominal capacity the power draw is at what, 2.2 kW? ~185A is a pretty crazy amount of amps. At 200V it's only 11A. The 70A nominal kits with up to 100A peak draw I see for stuff like classic Porsches have pretty substantial compromises like shutting off at idle and not actually managing to keep the interior cool in hot conditions because they can only output like 6000 BTU. IMO if I had to pick what high amp draw component to retrofit to these cars I would start with the engine fan, not the AC compressor. You need an ~850-1000W brushless fan, something like this: I would love to see the data but I would bet that whatever you save by running the AC compressor in a more efficient regime with an electric motor you're probably losing to conversion losses anyways. It's not really like a clutch fan where you're losing power all the time even when it's nominally disengaged and it gets worse as it engages because the envelope tracking isn't that precise.

    • I'm wondering is the Toyota and Mazda "collaboration" could see that new Toyota ???G20 ??? turbo engine that they have been showing off recently into a future MX5, apparently it's good for 400hp out of the box That could easily, possibly, be much better than the last collaboration between Toyota and Subaru with the boxer engine in the twins
