What car are these for?... the proper fitment for something like an R33 Skyline is 205/55x15 so the upsize would be 225/50x16 - all of the tyres you listed are fairly good and around $200 to $225 would be about right for a good tyre in that size.

yeah its for a r33 skyline ... and i have standard rims ... thanks for the advice ... i'm looking closely at the toyas and the goodyear ... those bridgestones seem a little overpriced which i'd rather spend on doing my brakes and new springs. Is there any other brands which you guys recommend?

Thanks

Id go the bridgestones, try pricing some Grid III's, or S03's if you can, try and get some S02's, they are an excellent tyre. WELL worth the money

Have a look for Dunlops as well, they make a great tyre.

If you plan on ripping them up, and not using them for what they were deisgned for, get some 2nd hand crappers to take your anger out on.

bridgestone seem to be the most expensive right now for what i'm going to use it for ... this is for my everyday driving ... i just want it to be as safe as possible as i've had a few mishaps already .... seems like a choice between toyos and yokohamas right now ...
