2 Blow off valves (turbosmart copy's)

Recommended Posts

Have a Pair of type 2 V port blow off valves for sale. They are brand new polished Turbosmart copies with the only differance being the shape of the screw on cap.

Genuine sell for $300 each. Note they are NOT plumback. Internally they are an exact copy and work exactly the same.

Asking $175 each

May trade with a pair of genuine GTR bov's

Don't mean to be ass but need to put in a breif blurb. The parts on these BOVs are not anodised so the valve (piston that looks very ordinary) will wear very quickly and eventually jam plus the spring has eight active coils whereas ours have 16, for a very good reason.

Yes these are priced nice and cheap (love to know where the hell they come from) but just wanted set the record strait - will not work exactly the same as a Turbosmart product.. Sorry...

A mate made them on a CNC lathe and mill. They are the last two left out of 16 and they all work perfectly. They are made from 6061 T6 high tensile aluminium and yes anodised ones will last longer but these will certainly outlast the engine.

The pistons are made from Brass and will not jam. The springs have less coils but have a heavier gauge wire so they do the same job.

All the ones in use at the moment work fine and have done for the last 8 months

The only reason I am selling is I want a pair that I can plumb back. And for the price they will not dissapoint.
