Track Day Tyres

Guys,

I'm looking for some local knowledge. I've got hold of some 17" wheels without tyres.

I want to put on the some semi racing tyres for track days that are road legal enough to drive to the tack.

Question is what kind and where to buy them ?

Any advice would be great, I've done a quick search and didn't find any past threads on the subject.

Julian, grab a set of the Azenis that Andy has on the astra! they'd be great for the track (albeit a bit soft!) but apart from them you'd be hard pressed finding some decent slick-style street legal tyres.

i get all my tyres from st george on princes hwy at arncliffe... cheaper than tempe but doesn't have a selection as wide so u may wanna check out tempe as well if u can't get what ur after...
