yep, pulling the fuse will disable the hicas system.

The hicas fuse is in the boot, its marked on the boot fuse box.

You could also unplug the hicas system underneath the car near the diff, but just pulling the fuse will do it.

Have you tried putting the fuse back in and if so does the Hicas return to normal or does it have to be reset in some way? Also I know the Hicas light on the dash comes on without the fuse (which is no big deal) but does it go off again once the fuse has been installed?

Nothing against HICAS, I think for general road use the active rear steering does wounders for driveability. But you go on a racetrack and drive flat out you will discover your ass end undecided in the direction it wants to take, therefore it doesn’t make driving a pleasurable experience!! I think Nissan should have made an override switch on HICAS so the driver can decide whether to use it or not!

Anyway easier said then done.
