ahhh if only my car was alredy here and alredy gotten used to my trust td06 then id go for this... mmm too scary jumping straight to this

awsomely priced kit guys - same turbo as used on mark phillips gold ppgearbox sponsored r33 drift car (ex jms red r33)

- adz

Photos? Are we sure its the later series BB RX6 and not the old plain bearing turbo. The later kits usually have tubular manifolds, adn the older its cast manifolds...is my understanding correct. Dont know much about these kits only going on what i have seen:)

If it is a later model BB turbo, very , very interested...

will post up some pics later on soz have to find some. from what i under stand is that all the RX6 turbo's are ball bearing. as in all apexi turbo's with RX6 stamped on there cores are ball bearing. i think u are talking about the old school Rh9 series or something like the old school apexi gear real old school hehehehe. so yer it's 100% ball bearing.

Ok...so next question...:)

Looking at the core it appears to be only oil cooled, again im not sure so just askign the question, I "thought" the later model BB Apexi turbos (IHI) were also water cooled????

Where abouts are you located. Im in Adelaide with work at the moment, but usually in Melbourne. Keen to have a look

thanks for reply, yes the turbo is oil cooled only. i'm located up in brisbane soz. just looked on apexi's website and found this pic looks like same front housing etc but cannot see the oil galleries will try to find another pic of some rx6 turbo's

thanks for ya post macca, on my rb25 turbo starting getting boost at 4k pulled dam hard by 4500 and max boost at 4800 or so. but with cams this would be heaps less laggy as my rb25 was pretty stock(internal wise)

-sorry canadian skyline 2k is crazy talk i want/need 2500 soz which is a cheap price!!!

    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
    • Wasn't there a thread on this very subject just a few weeks ago?
    • Hi all! Looking to relocate the battery to the trunk of an R34 GTT. I want to do it using as many stock GTR components as I can (including the harness protectors from the 34 GTR that run underneath along the chassis to the engine bay). So far I’ve purchased the battery tray from a 33 GTR, as the captive weld nuts are already there just asking to be used. There is also the slight issue of now having to relocate the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU, which in GTT’s sits right above where the battery will then sit on the tray. Has anyone already achieved this, and if you have any pics that you wouldn’t mind sharing? It would be great to see how others have done it and where you put them, as there are countless holes in the parcel shelf panel to potentially use. Just trying to get some ideas bounced around, and to help uncover any potential problems I may encounter by  my choice of location. TIA for any help!
    • Brand was ard.   I also threw a brand new battery at it and beefed up the wire from the alternator to battery and added an extra earthing point from the battery
