I've got a pretty loud squeak coming from the front left of my r33 gtst. Anyone got any ideas as to what it could be, wheel bearing perhaps? It sounds like metal on metal alot like the sound the aluminium tray on my dads ute makes actually. It's louder when I'm going slow.

Any help would be awesome. Cheers

i had a sqeeking noise on the front left of my 33 a while ago (got me so paranoid i thought it was from the middle of the car as well). Got it checked out and everything was fine, and the noise even went away just before i got it checked.

Then it came back and went away, my mechanic said it was the shock absorber and stated that the majority of shocks on the skylines are usually worn out if they are still factory items when they come out here.

So it could just be you shock like it was on mine.

Is it a constantly light squeel that is not too loud but just enough to annoy the crap out of you?

If so I've got one on my right wheel.

I've had the wheel bearing done on that wheel quite some time ago, its not the wheel bearing. I'm thinking something to do with the brakes?!?

Wheel bearings tend to have more of a grind brup brup brup brup type sound.
