we just worked it out at the office... to import a Z-Tune R34 GTR under the current import schemes is to..

Buy 2 R34 Z-tunes, crash test one, as carbon fibre/fibreglass composite doors require side intrusion testing data for ADRs.

Then use that data and apply for SEVS plates for them... then impor the other one. After all the luxury taxes n all that are done... including the plate fees, you'll come out with just under AUD $350,000 for one. Then there's the cost of the one you had to crash test :cheers:

So if you want one, MOVE TO JAPAN NOW! buy one then move back here in a year... its virtually the only sane way of owning one.
