Hey guys,

I'm just interested in peoples experience when the different exhaust diameter's start to become a restriction? I know that the number of bends, etc will make a difference, but assuming the exhaust is mandrel bent with a straight thru muffler and a cat that matches the exhaust size, where does 3"/3.25"/3.5" start to become restrictive?

Thanks!

I have a 3"... making 270rwkw.

I can make 300rwkw but its been advised by the guy that works on the car... that i head towards a 4" item if i wanted anymore power etc.

Try searching for a thread by "Steve" he posted a lot of info when he upgraded hos exhuast a year or so ago. Good info in the thread.
