Holy crap... this is the bit where I admit I grew up in armadale... and say "I concur"

I remember the days of orchard fields, no armadale road dual carriage-ways, and Armadale city opening it's world class new extension (it was still a hole!) to double it's size :|

i did too... well during high school. 'cept i didn't go to armadale high school thank god.

my parents live in the hils so it ain't too bad... still had my fair share of local biffo though.

2 cars, 2 cameras mounted in them.

Go for a drive through Armadale (wherever the fark that is) and don't do ANYTHING WRONG AT ALL! SERIOUSLY!

Then if you get dobbed in as hoons, go off to court and smash them. But make a big noise in the paper about it first so the council gets owned badly!

hehehe.... nice thought hey....

Adrian

if u g to that site you get told

"This technology along with a number of other IT initiatives are currently subject to review by the WA State Police."

so pos not gonna go ahead....

Amazing isn't it, just another way to get the public to do the work of police, i've seen first hand, police "random" car checks, watching a beat up holden sandman (rust orange) being ignored, in favour of pulling over a GTS skyline, just because it looks fast. I drive a taxi and see it almost every week, I have an old TI skyline and have been pulled over by the law for a "random" licence and vehicle check, I'm thinking what is your definition of random having followed me for three blocks?

Hoon legislation, I can live with, drive like a dick and you lose your car, but dob in a hoon will open a can of worms especially for people with agenda's and grudges, and pensioners who now have a purpose in life...... I wonder if they'll get a hall monitor sash to wear as well, the mind boggles

anything short of video evidence will fail miserably in court. Hearsay is not accepted in court in most areas of the law, if any and this would be one of them.

The video evidence would probably have to be "non digital" like still photos of photographic evidence.

Someone should perhaps ask Armadale city whether their rate payers would appreciate them blowing heaps of money in failed court cases. I think the first case that is thrown out of court due to the lack of reliable evidence would probably wake them up some.

    • Wait a sec…. You pay for bolts at bunnings? I usually just pocket the 1 or 2 bolts I’m short. everything else is courtesy of work
    • Yes, the problem is the supply chain hasn't standardized on metric which makes it more expensive to source metric hardware. They're all mail order at this point. Fastenal is cheap but you can't exactly rock up to a fulfillment warehouse as a random D2C. Paying 13 USD in shipping for 3 nuts doesn't really make sense. McMaster-Carr and similar companies are all in a similar sort of boat. If you like gambling on mystery hardware Amazon is cheap too but you're going to be buying 25 of whatever screw you need. So Lowes/Home Depot ends up being the way to go if you really only need small quantities of hardware for odd jobs like trying to rebuild a power steering pump that calls for an m6x1.0 screw to pop out the flow control valve.
    • What size bolts did you use to reattach the cam cover baffles? Thinking it will need to be M3-M4
    • Yeah one of the first things I out in when I started having catch can filling up issues. Still prefer to empty 1-2 times a track day rather than every session
    • You'll find this link is probably more useful  Performance Turbochargers - Garrett - G GT GTX GTW Series Turbo TBG G35 1150 map may not even get added to my list depending on how it looks, the G35 1050 already is a mixed bag for making the numbers you would expect from the compressor map due to mismatch - I don't know how another 10lb/min of compressor flow is going to make that any better.   I've left out others for similar reasons as it's already getting quite big.   In terms of Precision, provide me with legit compressor maps for them and I'll do my thing   I'll add some more of the newer Xona Rotor options are they're pretty boss, I'd take a 68mm Xona over a G35 "1150" any day of the week - or Precision for that matter.
