This is probably a silly question, but can I get away with slightly wider *diameter* (not width) tyres on the back?

I have 205/60R15's on the front on my old R31, and I have a 'give away' price on some 205/65R15's.. On my calculations that would make the rears 2cm larger rolling diameter.

Would this totally stuff up my steering geometry and handling ? I have a feeling its not a good idea, but I really just need to put these on to pass a RWC so I can sell the car..

got them installed the other day..

No problems at all. I can't notice any difference in handling at all. The car does sit a little bit higher at the back than the front if you really look at it, but that kind of suits the wedginess of an R31 anyway ;)

At a couple of tyre shops - looks like more common size is 205/65 anyhow.. 205/60 i think is a bit of an oddity.
