Tacho problems - anyone with EL dials?

Hey all,

After having my EL dials in for nearly six months, I've only just realised that my tachometer needle is sticking up around the 5000rpm mark. I've taken it in to where I got them installed, and they played around with it, but it's still happening. So while we're trying to figure out why it is, has anyone experienced similar problems?

On acceleration, once it hits about 5k or so it will just stick, past that sometimes it will jerk to the higher revs, and then stick back on the way down. Getting annoying...

Mate i install mine myself. i found that i had to get the speedo and Tacho recalibrated. cost me 30. Something u might want to look into, especialy if the guys that put it in didn't have it recalibrated.

don't have EL dials but according to SST my Tacho reads 100-200 above the computer/dyno rpm readings... ie idles at 700-800rpm but tacho reads 900-1000 rpm

Yeah my tacho and speedo are out compared to my PFC reading, but not by that much. More concerned about the tacho not working properly.
