Hey!

I'm not sure is it right place but I have that kind of problem; is there in engineblocknumber  TT (twin turbo) with? Or is number only RB26DE than is RB26DET.

There's no 'TT' or 'DE', it's just RB26 XXXXXXX

The engine number is stamped on a pad just forward of the oil filter.

thanks!

Is RB26DETT and RB26DE (non-turbo)? What power and torque?

Sorry just realised your from Finland....welcome !!

The official Nissan spec for RB26DETT power output is 206kW at the flywheel. But that figure conforms to the max advertised power output which Japanese car manufacturers agreed with the Japanese govt to comply with. The 'real' output of these engines is somewhat higher....maybe 230kW or so.

There is no RB26DE, in terms of an official Nissan model, but there have been some versions built by aftermarket specialists in Japan (eg Autech) - do a search, there's been a couple of threads recently.

Thank you! Do you know is any body else in Finland?

All right. My problem is this. I think put RB26DETT in my 200SX s13.. We have here in Finland that kind of law. I can't put over 20% powerful engine or 25% bigger (litre) engine in car. So my car's biggest engine is SR20DET (red top) 205 bhp (150-151 kW) and 2 litres of course. So I can put 246 bhp (181 kW?) and 2.5 litres engine... Okay RB26 is 2.6 litres so I try to use 240sx which engine is 2.4 litre -> 3.0 litre is biggest.. (I can use different car comparison). Very confused!

I tried search Google but I didn't find anything smart..

I have to determine can I use that engine if it isn't Nissan official model.. I think that answer is No.

EDIT: Is RB26DE 220 bhp (PS)? what do you use for horsepower? PS, kW, bhp?

Is anybody good picture both engine?

But I can't put over 246 ps (181 kW) so I have to put RB25DE with after installion turbo.. I get dyno paper what power is less than 181kW.

Somebody say that 26 is better than 25.. I'm not sure.. but I only will make tune up. exhaust, filter, ecu.. so very less..
