Congrats,W. & D. on the photos! The car came up trumps!I know firsthand how good it feels to get a photo of you ride published.

Any fears showing it with the turbo bellmouth on like that?I'm thinking of the dust factor, that's all.I've seen a filter that can be placed between the bellmouth and the compressor, but it kinda wrecks the effect....

What's going on here?????????????

SHY and Jayce...........you fella's still gonna hang out with us other SAU'ers??????

Or are you too good now????? Got your own publish/pic SAU club, us commoners aren't invited, too bloody good for us.

Now the rest of us are all jealous and are gonna cut down some tall poppies, it's the Australian way you know, tradition. Watch your backs, we'll be everywhere.....................

After that small stir, congrats to MYSHY32 and dad, no wonder I find it hard to breathe sometimes, that turbo would suck all the oxygen out of the air for a 200km radius.

Well done.........

SAUWA had a photo shoot done by one of the car Mags. We ought to organise something simmilar for ACTSAU. Sure we got the numbers and the rides to make a great feature. With Shy n Jayce we also have the Big guns as bate!

so us poor folk can get in on it then.

tridentt150v he he he he I know how you feel I just clean the car and dad drives it.

Sinista32 a club feature in a magazine would be AWESOME for the ACT cars.

I see you made a post DAD. He is a litle SHY you have to encourage him guys.

I jusr realised the pun in the above sentence, he is not SHY when it comes to the car thou he he he he

    • I found the same with Subaru’s.  I own and love the SG9 Forester, after that model 2008+, Subaru threw the ugly stick at all their line up and somehow managed to make them look worse with every succeeding year.  lol
    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
