Another dumb question

I've got (I think) a stock standard r32 gtr. When I get it over 180k (bad, bad, bad)it seems to stall & cut out on me. Is there a speed limiter on these cars ?????.

cut wire 53 on ECU to disable speed limiter, however speedo will only read 180km/hr (unelss u have an aftermarket one)

And of course this speed is only being done on a track, that goes without saying obviously.....

make sure when you cut the wire you put a switch in there so that you don't stuff the Hicas diagnostic mode exit procedure. Plus it's cool to have the limiter on a switch.

Limiter goes off, limiter goes on, limiter goes off, limiter goes on, limiter goes *crack*.....oh sh1t!
