I think the smoke is getting worse. I could take more pictures but all you would see is white/grey now. Literally, Looking out the window, northbridge has disappeared as has kings park.

I must admit i do like how the smoke keeps everything cool and bathes everything in a soft orange light, never did like the sun, got too much as a child.

i tried to join the fire brigade.. but they told me i live in the wrong area. I have to live on the other side of wawrick rd.. the stupid part about it is, i live less than 200meters from this road.

Well its not quite showing up on teh IR sat yet. Which means its not too hot. Wish i could zoom in but i managed to get this ala sbs close time.

There is a little bit of heat on the coast there but i think thats normal.

Just for comparative purposes, here are two photos (camera phone) from a couple of minutes ago. You can see that it's got considerably worse than the photos I posted around 9am this morning as far as smoke cover goes.

u get one killer view from up there. Would be nice but i have phobia about tall buildings, like over 3 stories. I think its the swaying that freaks me out :Paranoid:

im in belmont jsut went outside for lunch and there's little flakes of ash dropping everywhere ...... its like snow .... but ash snow.

smoke = good sunsets.

yeh its gettin bad but they recon by 3pm today the breeze should shift the smoke...

QV1 just shut down half the fresh air intake so we dont have as much smoke in our offices..
