Good Insurance Deal

At last an Insurace company that is pleasant to deal with.

There has been some mention of Famous Classic Car Insurance before. I just organised my renewal with them for less than Dawes cost last year AND for a higher insured value.

They will do a discount for SAU club members when we get the club going as well! All the more reason to join the club!

All states. They are based in WA but they quoted me for NSW.

u will basically join the club via the state which most applies to u... being from sandy... once we (the vic commitee) have a few more things organised this will be possible for u.

If the mods are legal Merli then that's OK with them, as long as you let them know what you've got.

I rang these guys the other day for a quote (without knowing about any discount offer or anything).

The guy was fairly helpful (strong scottish/irish accent can't remember =)), and when I told him I didn't have the car yet (it's on the ship) he only gave me an estimate.. which was around the same as Just Car.

However, he said I'd need to get a Brant alarm, and get locknuts for my wheels for them to insure me he thought.

I'll try them again when the car arrives though!
