two40
When I read a forum it doesn't refresh in the main window and shows the particular forum as still being unread. Is anyone else experiancing this problem? How do I fix it? over Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/622-read-forums-do-not-refresh/ Share on other sites

two40
ha ha. did you change anything in your settings that could have trigered it? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/622-read-forums-do-not-refresh/#findComment-16826 Share on other sites
ph1
cant fix it and everyone should have the problem... threads are shown as unread if they have a post made since your "last activity" time which is stored in your cookie. the last activity time is updated if you hit the "mark all forums read" link on the main page, or it is updated the next time you visit the forums if the current time is greater than "last activity" + the cookie timeout value set by the admins.. as cookies are limited to 4k? per site, you cannot possibly record all the possible threads that you have read since your visit.. make sense? d0p3y
Guys, try this. Log out, close the Internet Explorer window, and then Open a new Internet Explorer window and Log-in agian. I did that, and it fixed the problem for me. -Ryan Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/622-read-forums-do-not-refresh/#findComment-17477 Share on other sites
