Was planning a drive up to the car festival at Rosehill this weekend, but have heard a few negative comments about the lack/quality of machinery on display and the small number of trade exhibitors compared to the Summernats.

Not all that keen on wandering through a few rows of commodores/toranas and not much else, but would probably still go if there was likely to be a reasonable range of other stuff to look at (and no, I don't mean t*ts).

Anyone care to comment?

You heard correct, last year there was barely anything.

Keep in mind:

1) It was the first event held at Rosehill, and first SCF ever held.

2) Not as much space as Exibition Park.

3) It was stretched over 3 days for a first time event.

4) It rained all 3 days, from morning to afternoon.

I took the Friday off work as I got hyped up for the event, and when they did get going (Burnouts/Go-to-whoa), it wasn't too bad!

Hopefully this year is an improvement, hoping the weather holds out.
