I dont have any pictures of this exact turbo because I haven't picked it up yet, left it at the workshop I bought it from until needed so the warranty remained valid, but if you look http://innovativeturbo.com/ or http://www.rigoliracing.com.au/ you can see pictures of the 60-1.

It has a polished compressor cover, and the backing of the compressor cover is anodised purple.

External gate yes. These turbos are used heavily over in the States, and are also Rigoli's choice of turbo. If your familar with MR WRX (10 second MY03), OSMANS (yellow convertible making over 400 kw @ wheels) or DIABLO (wide body MY02 STi doing over 350 kw @ wheels I believe), they all use this turbo.

There is a GTR over in WA as well with this turbo, in non ball bearing turbo, with stock internals that was doing flat 11's I believe.
