hey,

just wondering which companies anyone has used to ship items within australia?

looking to send a set of rims from melbourne to qld and just trying to find out who is reliable and reasonably cheap.

any feedback or contacts/links to companies would be good.

:D

have you tried austpost

http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/

15kg wheel no tyre about $20 each from Melb to Bris door to door

just pack them seperatly, go down to your local tyre store and some empty mag wheel boxes

Fastway couriers are about $20 door to door as well for items 20-25kg. Cheaper if the weight is lower.

Catch is you have to purchase there stickers first as its a pre paid system and they come in books of about 30.

Just buy four stickers off a company who uses them.

so you're saying they would go from melb. to qld. for $20 per wheel??

you wouldn't happen to know someone who i could buy these stickers from??

Most the big name transport companies like TNT and Tol Ipec, you need to be a company and set up a account

try www.busfreight.com.au

I recently had a dashboard sent from Queensland to NSW via busfreight: only cost $30 (which given the size of the object, was great). Far cheaper than any of ther other freight companies I tried.

LW.
